from Ocean Space Acoustics

PingMe is a modern hydroacoustic sensor designed to monitor and locate underwater equipment in real time.

PingMe provides continuous information on position, depth, and temperature, helping fishermen, researchers, and others with subsea equipment improve precision, efficiency, and safety—while reducing gear loss.

PingMe is engineered to withstand the harshest offshore conditions and is used in fisheries, aquaculture, environmental monitoring, and for tracking sensor platforms and subsea installations.

Track your equipment at depths of up to 1000 meters with precise positioning and ambient temperature data—even in noisy marine environments.

Use historical temperature, depth, and current data to plan and optimize future fishing operations.

Battery life of up to 1 year in standby after loss, or 60 days in active use—designed for long-term marine operations.

What our customers say

PingMe contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

PingMe contributes directly to several of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:

By reducing gear loss and preventing ghost fishing, PingMe supports SDG 14 – Life Below Water, contributing to the protection of marine ecosystems and improving animal welfare.

By enabling more efficient and precise use of fishing gear, the system also promotes more responsible harvesting of marine resources. This supports SDG 2 – Zero Hunger, helping ensure sustainable food production from the ocean in the future.

By collecting and integrating data from each uniquely identified transponder into a cloud-based service, PingMe contributes to more efficient resource use and extended equipment lifetime, in line with SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production. At the same time, its innovative use of sensor and cloud technologies supports SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure within the blue economy.
